I don't know anybody who was more glad that 2009 is finally over than my best friend Shannon and me. So, we decided what best to kick 2009 to the curb and start to celebrate 2010 strong by throwing a party. That we did. And, it was a BLAST!
Everyone I could have wished to be there was there. Well, besides Andy, Jennie, Kylie, Sara, Craig, Britt,Terah, Kyle, Jessica... actually I am sure there are tons more! But, it was still fantastic!
I wore my Christmas present from my parents! My brand new and altered (over thanksgiving - let's just say an early Christmas present) BCBG dress! I also wore some of my Mom's vintage heels that were amazingly comfortable. Surprisingly I kept them on the whole night.
Me and my best friend Shannon.
We had an awesome spread of food and alcohol thanks to my parents and our amazing guests!
Yes, the food and alcohol, including all 5 bottles of champagne, was gone by 4:00 am.
We had a great selection of cheeses. Some which were from Allen's Gourmet Grocery brought over by none other than Bryan and Mary!
Of course we had to have some healthy snacks along with unhealthy ones. I made my Mom's artichoke dip which was gone before we even left the house. I also made some chocolate chip and oatmeal cranberry cookies!
You can't have a New Years party without some party hats! Oh yes, they were put to good use!
Obviously I have not seen a lot of these people in forever so I quickly snapped some pics when they walked in before they looked all Trashed and Scattered...
Here are some of my favorite snap shots of the night while looking Trashed and Scattered (in honor of "The Rev")!!
The whole gang. Thanks Dad for such a great shot!
It has been a year since I have seen Kimi and I am so thankful she could come.
Givin BCJ a little love!
My high school best friends. It was amazing to be able to spend the new year with them. I love all of you and am so thankful for you.
Oliver even joined the partay!!
I hope everyone else had an amazing and safe New Years as well. I'd love to hear about it!
