RIP Sadie

"It was an early morning phone call December
That got my attention
They called to tell me that you were gone
You were the strength of all my hopes and inspirations
You were the music in my song

Sometimes what doesn't seem so fair
That's what makes us more aware

I know you're smiling
I know you're singing, I know that you're in a better place
Where angels wings caress you
But I still miss you

More than leaves are falling this October
It's just that I wanted to stand with you for awhile
Now I"m walking throught a doorway to tomorrow
More like running, running out of time

Sometimes what doesn't seem so fair
That's what makes us more aware

I know you're smiling
I know you're singing, I know that you're in a better place
Where angels wings caress you
But I still miss you"

Today I lost my best friend of thirteen years. Even though she has lived in Tulsa with my parents for the past few, it is still the hardest thing I have had to go through. I don't know what I will do without her. Going home on Thursday might be the hardest thing I've had to do in my life.

Last night the family got together on iChat to say our goodbyes.

I know everyone thinks they have or had the best dog in the world but I truly
believe Sadie was the best.

She was honestly the smartest dog I have ever met. She was also the
most caring, loving, strongest, and bravest dog, as dorky as that sounds.
She lived a wonderful life and traveled with me where ever I
went, even out of the Country.

I don't know what I would have done without her in my life. I am truly
blessed to have had such an amazing experience with her.

RIP Sadie. You will be truly missed by many.
I will love you forever.
