Divine Dining

A Dining Room to me, is a place where my family gathers twice a year. Those two times a year, Thanksgiving and Christmas, like most families. That is pretty much it. However, growing up, my parents always had amazing Dining Rooms and China. I don't know why we didn't put them to better use. I'm still hoping to inherit that China along with the house. When I have a family of my own some day, I will make sure those amazing dining chairs are sat in regularly.

Obviously, I have very simplistic taste therefore that simplicity would be reflected in the designs I love. Wouldn't life be so much easier if everything was simple?

If you have a great architectural space, there is no need to crowd the room. A beautiful dining table can act as an art piece as well as a table. Combine the table with a fantastic light fixture, some amazing chairs and some sort of sideboard, and your Dinging Room will be a masterpiece!

If your Dining Room is a typical modern day Dining Room, more elements can be added as you don't have to worry about hiding and over crowding the architectural elements. Still, in my opinion, a Dining Room should stay simple and reflect what it is, a place for family and friends to gather and enjoy each others company.

  1. I really like the second one from the bottom. That's a cool design.

And I like the last one too, of course...just because. ;)
