My friends and I have a new favorite store in NoLita on Elizabeth Street called Love, Adorned. They have everything from jewelry, accessories, candles, furniture, interiors, fragrances, and even plants. Not only do they have a wide variety of objects, everything is absolutely fabulous.
I literally have to bypass the entire street most of the time for the sake of my bank account. If I went in as often as I walk by, I wouldn't live where I live because I wouldn't be able to afford it.
Love, Adorned – a lifestyle concept store from New York Adorned’s Lori Leven – addresses a need for beauty and utility. The shop’s lovingly curated inventory expands from fine jewelry to include smart tools for home, body and travel. The changing environments of a new world have brought to attention a need for solutions that bring ease into our busy lives and preserve beauty. Love, Adorned seeks out items of perfection, often collaborating with its well traveled and visionary friends to find time tested pieces and remedies from their personal collections. Where beauty exists in design and simplicity, it also is expressed through craftsmanship and quality, all key points of the curated inventory. Building on seasonal themes, the store opened December 2010 with an initial exploration of things cherished and celebrated.
Treasured objects are the things that remind us of our participation in the world, how it works with us, and how we can make it work better for ourselves. This blog hopes to serve as a place for all the things we find beautiful and inspiring, informative and innovative.
Gold Vermeil and Inlaid Stingray Gems
THIS JUST IN: Deco inspired jewelry from Collette Ishiyama. “Emerald City,” the initial collection from the designer, is derived from her interest in “Egyptian burial jewels, samurai warriors and the omnipresent sliver of the Chrysler Building.” Hand carved and casted in either Sterling Silver or Gold Vermeil, these pieces are also inlaid with Black Stingray for a dark but clean sense of luxury.

Michelle Quan’s hand painted porcelain skulls have a hidden romance engrained in their story. Quan, inspired by Tibetan art and culture, uses the skull as a reminder to live your life fully because all things will pass. Add them to your or your loved ones’ list of cherished objects that inspire beauty every day
I'm about 100% positive I will own one of these skulls one of these days. How amazing are they?

For a girl who likes to travel in third world countries, sometimes during monsoon season, these notebooks were a fantastic find for me. Next week, we’re going to get in pens to match. They write upside down and in tempuratures from minus 30 – 250f, but thank God, I’ve never felt temps like those.
I love notebooks. I have a plethora of unused notebooks that collect dust in the corner. One day I promise, they will all be used.

Feels like spring with these newly planted terrariums at the shop. Made by hand, each of the planters contain a unique set of ferns and succulents that thrive in low light or bright shade – perfect for indoor or windowsill gardens. Blown glass, poured cement or thrown ceramic pieces all make perfect homes for plant friends.
How fantastic of an idea is this! I would use a few in my Kitchen. I'm always trying to find a way to bring the outside in. Except, usually with fake plants as the live ones usually don't make it past a month. I'm working on that green tumb!
To top it off, NY Adorned Tattoo shop is located in the back of Love Adorned.
My next tattoo will probably be from here.
