After the TNT rally, Tess and I headed to the Charles Bank Gallery on Spring and Bowery to see Oh Land perform. Not only was she performing but she was fusing her music with an art installation for a four night residency. The line was around the corner. Luckily, we were able to get in and push our way closer to the front.
The art installation was randomly throughout the room, on the walls, ceiling and middle of the floor, which made it a little more difficult to move around with such a large crowd. The gallery was packed with Oh Land fans. Everyone knew every song. The energy was amazing and she was not only beautiful, but talented.
Oh Land has just recently started to get popular within the past few months and I was lucky to have Tess to experience this with. If it wasn't for her, I would have missed this fabulous night. Her trademark is her balloons and her unbelievable idea of having her face, singing along with her, projected onto balloons. How awesome is that.
Check out the music video to her single Son of a Gun.
