Italy: Casa Olivi

This 18th century farm located in Treia in the heart of the Marches is known as Casa Olivi. This beautiful Italian region with rolling hills, sea views and olive groves is also called The New Tuscany. I discovered Casa Olivi and these interesting facts on The Travel Files, one of my new favorite blogs!

The renovation of the farm took four years. The outside style has been preserved as the building is protected by the Italian Cultural and History Administration, but the inside has been entirely renovated according to a luxurious, high comfortable and minimalist style.

Vitra, Cassina, Gandia Blasco and Philippe Stark, to name a few, are some of the designers furniture that was used throughout Casa Olivi.

This luxureous villa can be rented but be warned, all this luxury does not come cheap. The house, which can fit up to 11 people, has five bedrooms. Four are situated in the main house and there is one independent guest house. All bedrooms are en-suite with own bathroom and air conditioning.

I don't know about you, but I'm thinking this would be a fantastic location for a small intimate, family only, wedding. My kind of wedding. Uh oh! Mom and Dad, you have been warned!

Spacious and comfortable, guests can socialise in one of the many different indoor or outdoor communal areas such as the outdoor terrace, the pool area or the living room with a home theatre.

I can only image what this place looks like at night!
