Second Story: Culinary Creations VII

For Easter dinner we had Korean knight at the Second Story! My roommate Tess is one quarter Korean (did I get that right Tess?). Her brother, who lives in our hood, is the also one quarter Korean. I guess that would make sense.

I had never had Bulgogi until that evening. Or at least that I had known of. It is very possible though. He took to the kitchen by storm chopping vegetables, cooking rice in the rice cooker, sauteing the bulgogi and topping it off with mixed greens and hot sauce. Within an hour, an amazing authentic meal was placed on the table in front of me.

It was not only the first time I had the joy of eating a delicious home cooked Korean meal in the comfort of my own home, but it was also the first time I broke out the real hand carved chopsticks Sara brought back for me after two long weeks in China.

I can confirm, not only did we have a happy Easter, but our tummies did too!

I cannot wait to see what delicious creation turns up next!
