After seven very long months in Brooklyn, I have decided to return to Manhattan. It was a
long hard decision however, for my quality and happiness in life, it was something I had to do. I will miss my amazing roommates desperately and hoping they will come join me for slumber parties on a weekly basis.
Long story short, actually, short story short, apparently I was too spoiled with my former commute and decided I could not handle an hour to hour and a half commute to work and home everyday. Yes, that is two to three hours of commuting daily. For someone who lives, by car, fifteen minutes from work, it was just a little too ridiculous. Two to three trains later, I was an exhausted and sweaty mess. Not to mention, my social life deteriorated. Once I got home, I wasn't going back.
As I do feel bittersweet about leaving my friends, and room, I am excited to announce I have already found a new apartment in Manhattan and will be moving in, with the help of my Mom and Aunt, on September 15th! The apartment is beautiful inside and out and I am so grateful and thankful for my parents who have helped me, in every way, find this new apartment.
