Thanks and Giving: Round One

This past weekend, I celebrated my first round of Thanksgivings in North Carolina. Just like any other typical Thanksgivings, it was filled with family, friends, flowers and food. Lots and lots of food!

It was a relaxing and wonderful weekend. What is better than Thanksgiving dinner? Thanksgiving leftovers for breakfast! So delicious!

I woke up this morning clearly remembering my dream from last night. It was very fitting for this time of year. A paper on everything I was thankful for. I figured why not share.

I am thankful for hot water and electricity. With so many people still without power, I can only cherish it more.

For NYC public transportation, without you, we would be lost. Even as much as we complain about it, I am still thankful.

NYC, I am thankful you exist and have allowed me to call you home for the past six years. You are magnificent, powerful and beautiful.

Barack Obama, I am thankful we have a you as the President of this country who is giving the rights of this country back to its people.

My family, friends and loved ones who support me, push me and love me. Without them, who knows where I would be in this world.

Airplanes, I am thankful for your invention and allowing me to see my loved ones as often as I can.

My job, I am thankful I have one and honestly remind myself daily.

My apartment, I am again thankful for my job for allowing me to have such a great apartment.

My Oliver, I am thankful for the unconditional love he greets me with each and everyday and for the smile he always puts on my face.
