Kookaburra

I have a very large sweet tooth. However, I am not a chocolate person. 

I am a gummy girl. Anything sweet, sour, gushy, yummy girl. For all of you other 

gummy people I would like to introduce you to my all time favorite candy...

Kookaburra Licorice!

I cannot, for the life of me, find these candies anywhere but Tasti D Lites with the 

candy stores or Eli's. I don't know how many times I have dragged my friends after 

dinner to the Tasti D Lite on Sixth Avenue and Spring street to grab a bag before it 

closes at 11pm. Most of them don't mind because they have come quite addicted 

as well.

My boss, John, recently bought two bags for the office when I was not there. 

It was a bad rainy day and I was running all around the city. When I got back to the 

office I was not in a good mood. I don't know how I missed the two bags of apple 

and strawberry goodness sitting on the island behind my desk. But I did. The funny 

thing about it was I was craving them all morning. Yes, I can eat them in the mornings. 

All I heard was Australian licorice, turned around and saw everyone huddled around 

the bags. Oh did my day get better!

So please, everyone, try these amazing Australian pieces of delight!
