Sorry I have been MIA for a few days. I had surgery on Monday and have been having a very painful recovery. I can't even believe the pain I am having. It doesn't even make sense to the surgery I had.
Anyway, besides the drugs and my parents, the only thing that has gotten me through this mess is my new little love, Oliver. He has been at my side, on my chest, or curled in a ball on my neck for the past three days.
He is so amazing, after my Dad slipped me some of my pain pills the other night, he offered me $1,000.00 to keep Oliver and said I could take Sadie back to NYC. I am pretty sure before I left the hospital, my doctor read me rules stating I could not sign or agree on any legal contract along with driving or using heavy machinery while on these pain pills. I told my Dad nice try.
I think I am finally ready for visitors and I know Oliver is ready to meet some of my friends. Not to mention, I am also ready to show off my four pound ball of love!
P.S. Sadie could sure use some attention too! She is not too fond of the little guy. I'm doing my best though. She still sleeps on my pillow every night.
Thank you to all my true friends and family for the love and support they have given me the past few weeks. They truly mean the world to me. I love you all.
