I gave you my future
Arms stretched, on a throne
Wide open, with only love unknown.
Who am I to believe in a feeling of lust
When the past only proves a loss of trust.
A feeling of faith still lingers in my heart
How do I forget and not fall apart?
A new future shines bright and hope isn't far
That one day love will prove not to scar.
