The fifth floor up looks incredibly sad in it's current mid move state. I have slowly started to box everything up in preparation for the movers on Saturday. Holy cow, I'm moving on Saturday! I can't believe this is really happening!
This week, I'm trying to spend as much time in my neighborhood as possible. I have been very lucky to have lived here the past six years and would like to really cherish the next couple of days.
On Friday, a couple of my friends and neighbors are getting together for dinner and drinks to bid me farewell as a resident on Mulberry Street.
The next time you see the fifth floor up, it will be completely empty. I have never actually seen my apartment empty. We purchased the existing furniture from my parents friends daughter who lived there before me. I'm sure a tear or two might fall.
