As I mentioned before in my post Michele Varian, I gave one hint to what I purchased my Brother for Christmas. Well, now that I know he likes it, and wears it (hint #2) I have decided to show it off!
Unbeknown to myelsef at the time of the purchase, Andy was actually looking for one. So, it turned out to be a perfect gift!

The piece is cast from authentic 19th century wax seals. Every design has a symbolic meaning taken from family heraldry. This necklace is made of oxidized sterling silver and is on a 15" chain.
The chain on Andy's necklace is new but has a very antique feel and look to it. It almosts looks pewter.
Michele Varian has most of the designs on their websites with the meaning of the seals. Unfortunately, I do not know the background of this necklace and it is not on their website. This is something I will have to find out.
They are reasonably priced and great gifts. However, if Andy didn't like it, I was going to keep it for myself. But, as you can see, that wasn't the case.
He even snapped a shot for me of him proudly wearing it! What a great brother!
